November 8, 2006: Snake through the nose guy

Is this guy worthy of an IotD? I'm not so sure any longer. But when I first saw a guy like him almost six years ago, I was motivated to make it the first IotD.

(The blog view at the link shown is broken -- that's how old it is, it doesn't have the right formatting according to how the vBulletin database was set up way back then.)

I still think they are cool, even if I've seen the trick a few times before.

Makes you wonder how the first person to do this got the idea. I assume it's not too hard, you just stick the head in, and let the snake do the work.

What a slacker. A real snake through the nose dedicant would use an Anaconda.

Once, years ago, I was being admitted to the hospital due to a Crohn's disease blockage. The doctor was trying to shove a hose up my nose to go down my throat. There's probably a scientific name for such a thing, but I don't know it.

Anyway, he was doing a really bad job of it, so I had him hand me the stick he was shoving with and poked it in myself.

I'm guessing it can't be any harder than that was.

The snake has a cute/funny expression on his face--like, "did I just go thru that guy's nose or what?

hee, hee

I used to do that snake-nose-mouth trick with an unrolled condom when I was at Uni... beer has a lot to answer for

My cousin used to do that condom-nose trick when he was at uni... it was quite disgusting to watch yet fascinating too with a mixture of sucking and blowing noises whilst choking and grimacing at the same time. But sure enough, the condom would come out the mouth and he would drag it back and forth to the amazement of the onlookers.

As an encore he would eat cat-food.
