This story is ready. It is about the length of a longer magazine article.

To gain access to it send me a P.M. You must promise to never link this story to anywhere on the Internet.

Thank you in advance.

That was good. Thanks for sharing it. It's too bad you have to keep these stories secret. I could see that being published in a writing journal or something. It's better than some stories I've read in the Washington Post Magazine.

It has the advantage, over the WaPo, of being 100% true... only the names have been changed

I must add, it's okay to talk about the story here. I'm sure the general details won't matter so much, since the names have been changed.

When I first saw the pictures and hadn't read the text yet, I was all excited like it was a treasure trove. But Tweaker sounds like he's not letting anything go for cheap.

No.. one thing I didn't put in the story (aside from the dogs) was that Andy had this annoying practice of doing an eBay search, clicking on Sold Listings, and then sorting from highest to lowest, and assuming the highest price he saw was a price that he would get.

One should actually click on Completed Listings, because then you'll see all the prices that things DIDN'T sell at, which is a bigger clue. And then you also have to assess your item fairly because small differences are important to collectors.

So he is pricing things way too high and getting nothing

I don't expect there will be a Roadshow Antiques moment where someone tells him one of his pieces of shit is worth $20,000.
