Vegas vacation
As none of you know, I have been on vacation for the last couple of weeks out west. I spent a week in SLC (props to pastrami, looks good since you took over maintenance) and then a few days in Vegas. This here one was taken in Kolob canyon in Zion NP:

Nice shot, Bartman. Did you stop at Bryce too?

Unfortunately not, we were just on our way back and didn't have time to get too far off the beaten path. Kolob is only a 5 mile jaunt up the mountain in the car, and I was real impressed with the views. My wife really wants to go back now, so it'll give me an excuse to go back to Vegas and spend more money on being entertained by a blackjack dealer. |

Very nice photo. If there's one thing Utah's got, it's scenery. Zions, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley, and more, and not too far from Yellowstone, Great Basin... good stuff. I have taken a recent interest in photography and I keep meaning to go on picture-taking excursions, but the moving and wedding plans have been taking up all of my time. I do have a few cool pics of Goblin Valley that I took last summer, I'll have to post some when I'm at home.
Yes, if I ever moved away from Utah, I'd miss the moutains dearly. My new place is right at the foot of the mountains, and the view is gorgeous.
