Baking Cookies

Now what can be more Norman Rockwell than the family gathered in the kitchen baking cookies.
A little messy maybe, with a patina of flour mixed with a few drips and drops.
But cleaning up, with everyone pitching in, adds to the togetherness of the cohesive family.

One cookie you can make is a rainbow, arching from a cloud, to a pot of shiny gold.
This requires several applications colored icing which can be delegated to various children.
