I go to the Y just up the street from our apartment...Mrs. Syc used to be the membership director there, her sister worked there over the summer and we know a lot of the staff that's currently there. It's frequented by a pretty good mix of decent people, though some folks can be retarded, primarily the teenagers. I'm not sure it's really worth $75 a month, but I try to get my money's worth out of it. I particularly like the indoor pool and track, which is where I spend most of my time.

My norm, is 5'4 and 121...thats what I sit at all year around.
My bodyfat sits at 18% and BMI is 20. Currently, I am 110 lbs, but will get back to normal pretty quickly. I go to the yuppie gym, with the pretty people, who care more about the fact that they may sweat whilst working out, than whether they are actually using the equipment correctly. I sweat, I swear and I sing really badly to my iPod |

Go early afternoon to avoid the geriatric soup -they're all taking naps then. I miss diving into the outdoor pool, though -the indoor is 5' deep max. And I wish they wouldn't label one of the lanes as "floaters".
Swimming regularly makes a huge difference to your overall fitness and energy levels. 170 lb, would like to be nearer 140, but I think that's pretty unrealistic as I'm very well muscled (built like a brick shithouse is another way of putting it) and I seem set to stay this weight -I never gain any, but any I lose goes straight back on the minute I blink. Still, I can dream.... At least people are suprised when they find out how much I weigh -I guess I don't look it.

Pretty happy with my weight, these days: 5'6" 123 lbs.
I use to be about 60 lbs heavier, but have gradually lost the weight just though changing my eating habits and level of activity. |

I am at 142 and go to the gym on a regular basis. If I didn't go to the gym I would be around 160-170, blimp size. Sugar is my downfall. The more I eat the more I want...vicious cycle

About 5' 10" and 255. Damn getting old sucks. But VA gave me new breathing meds and am better. Firewood has been a work out.

I've been able to weigh myself this weekend. Since leaving Leicester at end of July I've lost nearly a stone and a half (ETA I've actually lost 19lbs, but a stone and a half is 21lbs and is a bigger milestone for a Brit). I am so pleased - I knew I was losing it, but it's more than I expected.
Also Mum forced me into letting her buy me a new pair of trousers - honestly, I have been refusing since Thursday. I think it was my comedy stories about my trousers falling down in Woolwich. Anyway, I found I have dropped 2 dress sizes, which pleases me even more. One more size and I go get my suitcase down from the loft with all the decent clothes I bought last time I was that size and barely wore!
