I come from the land of microbrews. New Belgium, O'dells, and a host of other brands flow ubiquitously around these parts. My favorite, lately, has been Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat.
I don't care for Guinness Heineken Anything super bitter or dark |

Favorite: Beer you can't see through.
American large batch beer is like making love in a canoe.

My fav is Beez Neez, but I doubt you get that in the US. It's very nice though. Pale and refreshing.

It's pretty light, has a citrus like taste but I guess it is brewed with coriander. Their Hefeweizen is also pretty good. They make some darker ones, too, I guess. Sunset Wheat is pretty light. They make a Honey Weiss which I have heard is good and a Golden Lager. Being not very knowledgeable about beers, I am not sure what constitutes a lager, but I assume only the ones with "lager" in the title are probably lagers, when it comes to this brand.

I can't afford beer that tastes good. So I drink to get drunk, not to enjoy a fine glass of beer.
In this order: Bud Ice Bud Light Bud Weiser Red Dog (do they still make this?) Corona (w/a lime slice) Beer I won't drink: Anything else.

maybe I should do a thread about beers...has anyone done that, yet? I have access to so many different types, it would take forever to hit all of them.

Okay then.
Since we were talking about Leinenkugels yesterday, I bought the Honey Weiss last night. I'll start with that one later today. You don't like my conversations with Pam? Come on now. I was bored! |
