HM - very cool. I've bookmarked it so I'll remember to pick up a copy later.
I reread Alice every couple of years ago. I consider it a must-read for software engineers. |

I have been looking for those stuffies. I found Max, and my daughter wont let it go now. Just to let everyone know, I will be off line in about 3 days heading home. We leave Iraq real soon. I hope to see you all again when I get back to the states. I found a hardcover book of were the wild things are on e-bay. I hope my daughter loves it as much as I did when I was a child.

What's amusing, sad, and possibly alarming, is that people actually think this is likely to happen. It wouldn't really surprise a lot of us to read that something like this happens. It's become normal, or at least not surprising. And that in itself is quite sad. Especially for a country that supposedly pride's itself on freedom and the like.

Fireman, I, too, would like to thank you and your family for your sacrifices and service in the defense of my family and nation. Rest assured that we Americans support your efforts and are glad to have dedicated individuals like you on the ready.
Safe journey home!

Hi agein folks. I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to tell you guys about how my daughter loves the book. I have only been home a week, and my daughter wants me to make her some PJs like Maxs'. I read the book to her every night since I came home. She holds the max dall I got her and falls asleep with it . I just wish I could find the PJs insted of making them.(LOL) It would be easier on me thats for sure.
