This is Carrot and Merlot's litter: http://www.champdogs.co.uk/litter/23956 I checked out both parents lineages back a couple more generations on a site someone sent me. There are a couple of other Potterdales in the line, which i'm quite pleased about, as Pilau had some Potterdale in him. I think they share Potterdale Philospher, and another a few branches back.

I'd respond with a photo of Diz's litter, but I don't think it would have the same awwwww factor.

I remember Potterdale and Snowmead as active and respected kennels when my mum was in the breed (yes, Lamplighter, Pilau was a Beardie, too).

Pilau looked a little like Carrot, but with the addition of little gingery flashes at the sides of his eyes. He was a brown tricolore and Carrot is just a brown.
Pil started out as a very dark chocolate colour. Though you'd never think it to look at the cappucino colour he ended up :p That's the thing with beardies. They start out with the deep colours, then at around a year old they fade to near colourless, then about a year later the colour starts to return but not as dark. It's a recessive gene I think. You never really know exactly what shade your beardie will turn out to be. I'll dig around and see if I can find any phots of Pil as a pup. Get them scanned in. He was a devilishly handsome puppy.

Oh! I'd love to see a pic of Diz as a kitteh! The only thing that comes anywhere near to a tray of wriggling puppehs for cute appeal, is a tray of wriggling kittehs.

I didn't mean that kind of litter...
But to make up for the silly joke, here is a pic of Singa kittens. Diz was 13 months old when I adopted him, so no kitten pics. Saved me £150 though, and Singapuras are eternal kittens (sez me with scratched knuckles)
