Nice one Ibram.

Wiki doesn't say explicitly, but the gig was "an appearance on "The Rolling Stones' Rock'n'Roll Circus" in which the band mimed "A Song For Jeffrey".

I'm thinking the mime thing had something to do with it.

Nick Abrams (JT's lead guitar) left JT right before the appearance but Iommi hadn't had time to learn any of the music so he had to mime to a soundtrack. The official reason he left was over differences over the role he had to play - Ian Anderson was the boss and Iommi would have to be a supporting member. The reason Iommi later recounted in an interview was that they practiced too early in the morning.

Funny, because Iommi later started making Sabbath practice early in the am and credits Anderson for showing him how to run a band.

Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" as performed by the Pittsburgh Queef Quintet.

A shot in the dark, there.

Got it, UT.

The song G-Spot Tornado is what got it the warning... and even if that song hadnt been on there, they probably would have given him the warning just for being Frank Zappa.

Name the ancient country crooner who is a favorite of Melinda French Gates and performed at the Gates' wedding reception.
