Yeah, someone pointed out the ashtray, and we realised ... we ... are ... OLD. Smoking, indoors, at a school function!
I'm pretty sure that's a girl, so why she seems to be wearing a tux is a mystery. But I also note the social dynamics .. boys in one corner, girls standing by the dance floor ... yep, teenage Aussies for ya. Where's the beer? (no, we didn't have that).

My best friend took this of me back in 1978 or so, I think we were walking around San Francisco and we had picked up some of those free newspapers that are in dispensing boxes along the sidewalk. Must have been shot on Kodak Tri X from the look of the grain.
