A couple more posts on FB indicating that she's still in hospital and will be for a day or two. "I intend to tunnel out using my razor sharp wit".

Oh monster. I wish I could visit you in the hospital.
Cause then I would ask "Are you gonna eat that?"

Good news about the heart - we knew you had one somewhere! Not so good they don't know WTF. The food will help you with New Year's resolution to lose weight I suppose.

monster, if there was ever anyone I knew who'd get themselves back in the game quickly and efficiently, it's you, so hurry up and get your arse outta bed and start on the rehab. You'll be fighting fit before you know it. Channel that fighting spirit we all know you have and focus it on getting those limbs working properly again. My best thoughts and wishes go to you. I know you can get past this one. You have a family who needs you, so you have no choice. xxx

Sending best wishes, Monster - hope they can get you started with rehab right away. And I hope you can quickly say goodbye to the inpatient routines and that gruesome hospital food!

didn't you know? The hospital is the one place completely designed to drive you bat shit crazy. And rest/sleep? Don't even THINK of it.
