You can do that from the Disk Clean up menu.

A local pub is advertising for staff.

Doesn't sound as if the hours will suit me - well, I mean they are not possible with my current job - but she suggested I came to get an application form anyway.
If they were swamped with applicants she's have brushed me off, so perhaps they are having trouble filling other shifts as well. I said I could work weekends/ evenings/ weekends and that's often good news.

So I'll pop down their tomorrow with my experience and who knows. Might end up with a little more money in my pocket.

Is it really a good idea to work in a pub?

It's a proper chain place - a family eating pub.
Every single measure of alcohol is calculated and audited, even down to what is in the drip trays vs sold beer.
Most of their income is from food.

It shouldn't be any different than working in Deep Pan really.
I have been looking for other work, this is the first I've found which is even close to viable.
I'll keep looking though - what I want ideally is a weekend retail job.

The website

I didn't mean I thought you'd steal drinks! I meant wouldn't you find it hard, surrounded by something you enjoy but can't have?

No, I didn't take it that way
I meant it is not a convivial atmosphere for staff drinking.

You do your job, you clean up, you go home.
Not like a freehouse where locals stand you drinks and you hang about after hours for a lock in.
I'll just be envying all the perfect little nuclear families that can afford to eat out if anything. Will try not to stab anyone with a fork though.

Also, check it won't be frowned on by the schools -I know they're worse about it here than there, but teachers have been fired for posting pics of them drinking on facebook....

One of the LSAs in the year above works in a town centre pub. This school at least is okay with it.

For the life of me I couldn't remember what I'd done with my crockpot. I was sure HG had used it and left it somewhere.

Welllll, no...I used it and left it somewhere. I was talking to my friend who I used to work with, and she was telling me a friend of hers who I met at an OSU football party at her house...year before this last season, was stationed in Iraq (really cool girl, btw, I only met her the one time but we hit it off like old friends) but is home for a while and she's going to visit her, and my friend writes BTW I still have your crockpot.

Crockpots, pens, and lighters...they migrate.

Today getting into my new demo made me happy.

It's tiny and cute, and handles great, and it's quick! Nissan Juke. AWD, turbo, and 29mpgs! win win win.
