Just a picture I came across on the net somewhere. Anybody know if this is a wolf, a dog or a cross breed?

Awww, I've always liked Newfies! He has an absolutely adorable face

I'll have to take some pictures of our family of puppies and share...we have 3 Yorkies, a schnauzer, and a Shitzu/Cocker mix.

And the cat - who thinks he's a dog.

It could be a Malamute/wolf hybrid. They are not wolves, but do have some of the same physical characteristics. One of our dogs is a Malamute, and she is a big handful. I can't imagine ever needing or wanting a bigger challenge!

Here is a malamute, and next is a wolf hybrid.

Baloo's adorable, I love the curly hair around the head and the webbed feet. I saw them pulling carts in Newfoundland. I had a Neufie/Border Collie cross that was the sweetest dog. At 165 lbs he'd better be, because when a dog that size gets rambunctious, they'll knock you head over bandbox.

Yeah, they can pack quite a wallop! Baloo learned early that we don't jump on people in our house. As you said, though, they are very sweet and just want to please. Newfies remind me of Golden Retrievers, without the super-hyper mode.

Baloo's mom was large for a female and weighed in at 155 lbs., so we think our boy will be big, to say the least. His dad was a dry-mouth and so far, so good on the drool. Not to say there isn't any, but if you just rub it in, it doesn't show.

Just a funny picture of a dog that I found on the net somewhere. I once had a dog that would scoot across the floor like this to itch his butt.

I have a friend who has a Border Collie. One of the smartest, most energetic and neurotic breed of dogs EVER. She's a sweetie though. She's very protective of the famliy too. Good thing she considers me family as well
