lol Pil has a crush.
Well, to be more accurate pil has another crush. He already has a real thing for the little Bedlington terrier down the road (Daisy). He completely adores her. Goes really soppy every time we see her.

HAhahahaaa...don't be like me. I posted my Gaines once and all I heard were crickets chirping. I cried. On his behalf, of course. Well, I didn't really cry and he doesn't really care, but I pouted too.

it just seems that whenever I Post a Pet; someone posts a dog after, and my beautiful boys are ignored. So--pout. and . . . for good measure, here's another. He's big. I mean REALLY big--like he overflows my two arms holding him.
okay, that's strange--I uploaded both pics in exactly the same way, and one is big, and one is small.

I had a great big Siamese, Toonces. He was more Tonkinese looking than anything. Just a big giant teddy bear. I sure did love him.

his fur is not as silky as Miles' (my other cat's) but it sure is plush. I just want to hug him and squeeze him like a big stuffed animal. Too bad he doesn't enjoy being held much. He's a great cat, though--he's the one who fetches.

It's amazing to me that some cats are so obviously smart--they fetch, they use the real toilet, they play complex games with each other and humans... and yet every cat I've ever had has been dumb as a rock. One would spend hours staring at this one particular spot on the wall. We tried and tried to figure out if there was something behind it, but we never found anything, and it couldn't have been something alive because the special spot never moved.

Ha ha. Toonces was very smart; my ex and I said he was part human. Madison, on the other hand, was the box of rocks of which you speak. He was a great big muscular orange tabby, who couldn't meow, could only squeak. He was the most loving lug on earth...but duuuummmmmbbbbb. He'd stare at the same blinds, not moving, every morning for about 2 hours, in my apartment in the sky. I always thought he was watching a movie.
One morning I went into the kitchen and looked out, through the old wooden door plus screen door, on the balcony, said "Hi, Maddy" and then did a movie-quality double take as I realized "how the hell did he get out there?" He had broken out a screen and somehow, with all his clumsiness, had scaled the steep eaves of the old house all the way over to the balcony. And this apartment was WAY up there. Cats. Gotta love 'em.

That's a very cuddly looking cat. I must admit, I do like cuddly cats.
My bro's family have two cats. One is absolutely stunningly beautiful (smoke coloured) but so standoffish. Won't let anyone near her except for my eldest niece (it's her cat). Even then, really not much into cuddles. The other cat is the friendliest cat you could ever hope to meet. A total gentleman and a real softy. Will come to any visitor for cuddles, but still likes going out doing the ruffty tuffty hunter routine. He looks like a witch's cat, Jet black except for a tiny little spray of white under his chin. @ Nirvana: He's a Bearded Collie. Though I have had people ask if he's a spinone before. It's the giant kissable nose that does it :P Though spinones have a more distintive nose with bigger nostrils and more of a swirl. Actually, Spinone was one of the breeds we considered when we were looking at dogs before we got Pil. He also gets mistaken for an old english sheepdog from time to time. Especially if we're out with his brother Dante (mum's dog) as Dan's base colour is blue like an old english.
