AHHHH the pleasure of a southern dove hunt !!!!!! I saw an old man that wouldn't shoot unless he could hit a double ( 2 birds with one shot ) , i watched him hit a triple !!!!

The last time I went quail hunting with my father a covey flushed and went all on his side of the fence. The first shot was a double, the second shot was a triple. Too bad all he had was the over/under that day.

Back again after one week of heavy working in Italy and a week of well-earned holidays in Luxembourg. Hope you won't want me to read all the threads and answers of the 2 last weeks.
So that's my most recent picture... Looks very hard (6am in the morning after 48 hours without sleeping and 0° Celcius). But I'm a real softy but nobody knows

The last time Pi posted a pic, I fell all over myself feeling bad for him being in such a horrid place, and then he replied that his normal station was Belgium (or some other such vacation land)and the pic was taken during some silly training thing.
Still, if he's wearing the uniform and toting a gun, he's a lot more likely to have someone wanting him harmed than I am, so I'm *still* grateful for his service!

Anyone else think Mrs. Beestie looks rather a bit like a certain Canadian diva in this pic?

Are in-ear monitors simply fucking wonderful, or merely terrific? It certainly seems that the quality of live performances has gone up a whole order of magnitude since they first hit the market.

They're very hip, but they take a lot of getting used to. Sound guys love them - it dramatically decreases the stage volume, which gives them a lot more control over how they mix the house sound. It's also essential if you are using any kind of loops or triggers - the band has to have a click track in their ear so that the loops are in time, but you don't want the sound of the click coming through stage speakers. I WILL NOT use them unless I personally know and have worked with the monitor engineer, however. If he's not johnny-on-the-nut, then it's impossible to do your job as a player. -sm |

(for everybody who didn't get it, that was a lame camo joke. It's late and I'm tired. They can't all be gems.)
