I'm curious, how do you know that lollipop song?

My brother-in-law is the drummer in that band, and I wonder how they get their following, since they don't get any radio play that I know of. They just tour a lot. Have you seen them?

You let your sister marry a drummer? Are you insane?

No, and maybe.

My wife's brother is a drummer, and a painter when they aren't touring.

And I have no idea if I'm insane. How do you tell?

The biggest problem is that, often, they're a beat off.

Glatt, if you married the sister of a drummer, you're probably alright. Plus, she's got all that exposure to the rhythm method.

Yeah, that's great, as long as we are both focusing on the off-beat and she's not focusing on the beat itself.

I never saw them, but we've got a copy of "Outpost" here somewhere. WVBR in Ithaca used to have a pretty eclectic playlist, I probably heard them there first. Radio Paradise has some of their tunes on their playlist but not from that album... I just checked emusic they have a bunch of their albums. Do you know which ones they are most proud of?

Cool. I figure most people who know them now have known them for a long time. Beats me what they consider their best. I've only been following them for a few years, sine my BIL joined. They had a huge turnover a few years ago, and only the lead singer is left from the original band.

The lollipop song is fun though. But I cringe and skip it if the CD is playing when the kids are around.
