My first nomination! I'm so flattered I don't know what to say. I'll post my 10 page acceptance speech in a few days xxx

I didn't post on the thread, either. I just feel so- so honored! I would like to thank the starters of other threads that caught my interest, instead; my cats, and my next door neighbor who always distracts me from the computer. Sniff. I think I'm going to go cry now.

Skysidhe, could you link the thread the above quote was taken from? I've tried finding it, but thats a needle in a haystack undertaking.

I think posting here that you didn't post to the treadmill posts negates your uninvolvement with said post. Form a straight and orderly line and head for the nearest exit. Please turn in all nominations on your way out; there will be a box of shame for your convenience.

Posting that I didn't post to the thread makes me involved with it? That's like saying that you have never spoken to a Zulu means you are fluent in the Zulu language. I still haven't even read the OP in the thread or any of the replies.

You can tear my nomination out of my bleeding, dead cyber fingers!

Well, I was being tongue in cheek (do the Zulus speak that?)

Or, another way to look at it is: I didn't participate in the bash Mari threads because I felt uninvolved, but now I feel involved for wishing I had posted in those threads...almost in a whimsical sort of way.

Go ahead, my dear. I never had a thing against you, but feel free to join in the fun. Oh, wait! I see you already have. Good on you.

You know, it seems though you might prefer that people dis you. I have nothing against you, either.

No actual gerbils were harmed in the writing of the above post.
