Gosh, you made a great decision there!

I just wish Diz was more friendly; he would love a companion rather than just depending on me. But he's not. So I can't. Honestly can't afford one now, anyway - maybe day to day but not if anything goes wrong.

Della is so happy with her new BF

That's "Hi"? Not, "Get. That. Camera. OUT. Of. My. Face."?

What a gorgeous animal!

People think our dog Tiny looks vicious. She's big by some people's standards, and has a bit of a pit bull build. We regularly see parents stand between her and their children, pick their children up when we are near, or even cross the street when they see us coming.

But I have never seen a sweeter, more patient dog. She endures my 6 month old daughter on a daily basis, putting up with curious little hands in her ears, nostrils, and even her eyes. She actually comes over to invite this play once or twice a day, laying her head in Beans' lap. When it gets to be too much, she'll gently pull herself away, lick the baby's face and trot off.

If only those people knew how much she'd love to let their kids pet her.

Aww she loves her tiny human. That is so nice to see, I can never get tired of seeing kids and dogs/cats interact. My dogs have no idea what tiny humans are.. the youngest they have seen is 16. When they see kids on our walks they jump and bark and whine to go meet... and all that does is scare off the kids and parents. Mine would be good, I just know it, once they knock them down for kisses that is.

Your Beans is one lucky lady to have such a sweet loving babysitter around!

Kids are fun because they always smell and taste interesting. The dog will give her some germs that may save her life someday.

Gorgeous video, and a great way to teach a dog and a child to interact (and the dog is doing much of the teaching!)

But I think the other parents are right.
They do not know Tiny. Tiny is an unknown to them, a potential hazard, a potentially fatal hazard.

Same reason I look both ways when crossing a one-way street. You can't trust everyone to be as sensible as you.

Glad Bean has a good, early relationship with an animal. I think they help us be more aware of the way we treat animals for the rest of our lives.
