Dog was rolling and he decided to try it... he later decided he did NOT like it and wanted to go IN.
When he realized he was not going IN right now... we you see.
Though he is no stranger to messes...
Apparently we become "one" with the Halloween pumpkin to see what it wants to be.

Self explanitory... too hot for manners.

Of course he is.... same reason Bassett hounds are cute. They would be extinct otherwise.

Looks like with a laddie like this, you need one of those outdoor showers like they have at the beaches.

Either that or a really good firehose!!

In either case, good work by you.

Thanks. We have used the hose more than once. Or just a bucket... works fine. Just keep rinsing... they come clean eventually, for a few minutes.

Nope... and that is fine. If it can't take it. It ain't worth it. To quote a gardening show, "...in FL we don't have direct sun, we have fire."
But, he ain't allowed in the study. (Though it does not get enforced like I'd like)

Everything? You have not tried enough things?
But, as fast as kids grow, they only wear their clothes a few times, so how can it be that big of a deal? That and we have extra paint for most of the rooms.
Oh, vinegar... it is a miracle in the wash, vinegar and borax. You will be amazed!
I am not going to rehash my situation, but it is just more "present" let's say, but, truthfully, the same as everyone else.
How much time do we all really have with them?
I read about things that happen to families every day and I teach him to be polite, to be respectful and to love life and know joy, each are equally as important. One is worthless without the other IMO.
A productive day without fun is a wasted day, so we learn to have fun working and playing. He is much better at it than I am.
Sorry to many of you... I know all the "family" pics are not always welcome.
He's a hoot to me, but I keep forgetting that I have dad blinders on.
