If you do get a response, send them over to my house. I could use a ride off this stupid planet.

Ah, good ol' anorexia. I think it's a good idea to have our ambassador to the aliens be someone who looks sort of like them.

Ohhhhhhhh I loved that song when I was little! Anything with spacemen and aliens and stuff. That sort of thing used to send a shiver down my spine, of such longing..*chuckles* guess I was always gonna be a sci-fi chick.

I laughed really hard at this. Hope someone else will enjoy it too, although I suspect it relies on knowing the two sources:

Okay, I give up...what *is* the second source (I mean, I've seen 2001).

Did You Know 2.0

Pretty amazing presentation. This is an update to something that I think was linked to from the Cellar before. I was always amazed by the inability of people, especially Wall Street, to recognize trends, even when they had a direct effect on their futures. Look at the housing crisis, and, with 20/20 hindsight, ask yourselves how this could have been ignored by the experts.

The world is changing - fast. Even if the issue of competition for resources is resolved, markets are evolving and other nations are doing a better job of education than the US.

This short presentation just puts up the basic facts. But together, they are enough to give the viewer a glimpse at the bigger picture.
