No, only because there's only so much office space you know!

What model of CD burner/printer did you get, then? Something relatively hot shit?

The primary machine is a Rimage 2000i which does 4800dpi thermal ink jet printing on discs. That's right, thermal ink jet. The ink is jetted and then burned, or at least dried, onto the top of the disk. It looks great!

And it's expensive as hell! But what're ya gonna do.

Won't itsaboutmusic.com do that?

It's kind of in a "soft launch" status. By the end of the [long] week[end] all the back end bits will be in place that manage the back-end functions of the site, and next week about 100 artists (poss. including some "name" ones btw!) will start working with it.

It beats me what the heck all of this means, but what I have gleaned is UT and a buddy had a great idea, and instead of just talking about it, DID something about making it happen. Way to go, and good luck with the project.

Awesome

Toad,

The site looks nice and it's a great idea. I wish you the best of luck. Too bad I have zero negative creative talent and won't be able to use it. I do have some friends that are talented and I will certainly pass this along.

So what has happened with the Melodymill project? heard about it downloaded templates for CD art, went back to set up an account and poof it was gone. I thought it was great idea and was gonna use it for several projects that don't want to do big runs on.
