got poetry?

Often wrong and duly noted
simple phrases all misquoted.
Burning tears in tangled lashes,
dreams of her in flames and ashes.
For a time we burned together,
for a time we turned together.
Silence from her side of bed
ringing stinging in my head.
Long ago i longed in longing,
wanting only to stop wanting.
Hood pulled down the rain besieges,
cold wet stains into the reaches
of my inner winter landscape.
Drawing clawing scratch bite kick scrape
the tears from my cold white brave face.
memories sweet and cold i'll erase,
years of softness i'll no longer
have to celebrate with song or
verse or image waving wildly,
all art dead and gone inside me.
Grey an grey and grey and whitely
black and grey and white befright me.
Take this empty clawing writhing
'neath my ribs to me, a dire thing.
Wrest it from my throat in torrents,
sobs and grunts suppressed when i went
down on knees so oddly steady
and ringing in my head again she
cut the last string caught between us.
With purpose in her eyes and justice
dripping from her cold black gloves,
she left for one she truly loves.
