When I see the Zumwalt, I hear those foghorn-sounding blasts from the Tripods in "War of the Worlds" (Spielberg's version), only lower, longer, and ominous-er.
I find it sinister-looking.

Sinister is a good description. No people, no guns, just a whole lot of ominous unknown. I read they only plan to build three of these. Maybe that was to get money, planning to convince doubters once those three prove themselves.

Yes, except it's not a Colt.
 Like the AKs, Colt's 1911 is copied by everyone, with varying degrees of fit and finish. I think that one is about $5200.
