An ex bf used to complain about how much gizzards and livers cost at KFC. I'm like "you do know you're paying for 'guts' right? Do you know what a gizzard IS?" He didn't want to know.
I don't eat organs either. My grandma used to feed me beef heart and everyone thought it was so cool that I liked it but honestly I was a little kid and just thought it was a name...when I thought of 'heart' I thought of this:  So now I don't knowingly eat organs. Just like 'presentation is key' so is knowledge that it's really just 'guts.' I mean, we're not in the great depression anymore where we have to eat feet and stuff. Grandma ate all that weird stuff. |
