Ozark. But i think I just stopped. I'm up to about episode 10, but I was getting bored and now it's getting too gruesome

Bosch on Amazon Prime. Also Goliath. Fleabag is great!

didn't like Fleabag. Was disappointed as I'd had great expectations
might try again.

Yeah, Fleabag was not my cup of tea.

What's the word on DEVS?

I just cancelled my DisneyPlus subscription. I don't think we have watched anything on it in the last month. The greedy bastards haven't released the new Star Wars on it yet, choosing instead to try to get people to buy it. Maybe I'll sign back up again when the next season of the Mandalorian comes out.

My wife was saying last night that the way to manage these subscription services is to watch everything they have for a month or two and then cancel, and subscribe to something else. I think she's onto something. Maybe HBO is next for us. What's good on HBO?

Lots.

Westworld, definitely start at season one.

The Outsider, Stephen King f*cking with your head, again.

Last Week Tonight, John Oliver's weekly deep dive into and through the BS.

Chernobyl, exactly what it says on the tin.

Big Little Lies *, powerful performances by some amazing actors. Pretty difficult watch in places.

True Blood *, sexy vampires.

Barry *, Bill Hader and Henry Winkler perform brilliantly in dramatic roles.

* I'd gone to the app to refresh my memory and found that these titles, which I've watched and enjoyed are listed as "Stream for Free, No Subscription Required". Huh. Check them out, there really is a ton of material there, maybe you can defer subscribing and still binge your brains out. But even the few at the top are worth at least a "free month" or whatever strategy works for you. Westworld will blow your mind.

Okay, it's date night. I need a movie recomendo. Preferable a hard sci-fi, rom com, thriller shot in the style of John Ford with the moral clarity of George Lucas. Thanking you in advance, Griff
