How? I can only assume the procedure is different here - they drain the sac I think, meaning the balls end up like tiny spider sacs, rather than the tiger balls on that kitty.

I know for dogs they have prosthetic gonads -- artificial testicle inserts. For both males and females, they have to remove the original equipment (as half the reason people get their dogs fixed is to modify hormonally-driven behavior patterns.)
