man takes hostages at the Discovery Channel building

Apparently James Lee took some hostages at the Discovery channel building:

Quote:
n March 2008, a judge told Lee that he could face up to two months in jail if he went within 500 feet of the property after he was charged with disorderly conduct for throwing thousands of dollars in the air at a rally outside, according to a report in the Gazette newspaper at that time.

Wednesday, as police tried to get the situation under control, details of Lee were emerging. His MySpace page shows a 43-year-old who wanted to meet "environmentalists, scientists, readers of Daniel Quinn, and people who want to work toward a real change."

Federal officials confirmed that Lee is the creator of this SavethePlanetProtest.com, which detail his complaints against Discovery. Among them was this one that seems to be aimed at the overpopulation of the planet: "All programs on Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic human infants and the false heroics behind those actions. In those programs' places, programs encouraging human sterilization and infertility must be pushed. All former pro-birth programs must now push in the direction of stopping human birth, not encouraging it."

In the 2008 incident, Lee threw the money into the air as part of a multi-day protest against the Silver Spring-based company's programming, which he believed had little to do with saving the planet, according to the Gazette. His crusade, he told the paper, began after losing his job in San Diego, reading "Ishmael," a novel by Daniel Quinn and watching Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth."

''I was a man working alone, so obviously I didn't do too well," he said at the time. "After this, I'll stay here for a while, make a few more moves."

Here's the money throwing incident. Looks like inciting to riot.

What about stupid kids thinking they are doing some cool gang activity?

Last Sunday two teens went on a crime spree stabbing two people, killing one.

They were gang wannabees. Stabbed and killed a 60 year old man.The man taking an early morning stroll thinking he was safe.

Perhaps in large cities this is an everyday occurrence? It pisses me off and leaves me in dismay.

So, the cops shouldn't have responded? We should have just let him go about his day, shooting, killing, and blowing people up? Are ya allowed to do anything and everything, as long as you're nuts? You can't negotiate, he's (your phrase) mentally ill.

Strapping what appears to be explosive devices to your body, arming yourself with a handgun, and entering an office building and taking hostages is not "bad behavior". Stripping naked running around flinging poo is "bad behavior".

What this guy has is a disease. It's called I-wanna-die-in-spectacular-televised-fashion-itis. And Dr. Gravdigr prescribes 250 grains of .338 Lapua Magnum. Guaranteed cure.

Dr. Gravedigr has the correct dosage. Let's see Dr. Phil top that.

In favor of Dr. Gravedigr's treatment too.

No, they should have been unarmed, hiding at home behind security bars with their moral superiority and small penises.

Obviously this guy was a nutjob, but his eco-warrior, humans/white people/americans etc are parasites upon the earth philosophy is disturbingly mainstream these days.

Jinx nails it again. If the guy was a member of the Tea party or a Republican, the outcry would have been tenfold what it is. Shit could you imagine the posts if he was a Catholic??? Flocking hypocrites.

This sounds just like the tea party:
> Discovery Health-TLC must stop encouraging the birth of any more parasitic
> human infants and the false heroics behind those actions.

> keep out the fraudulent peace movements. They are liars and fakes and had
> no real intention of ending the wars. ALL OF THEM ARE FAKE! On one hand,

>World War II had 2 Billion humans and after that war,

> Breathe Oil! It is the moral obligation of everyone living otherwise
> what good are they??

> Find ways so that people don't build more housing

> Develop shows that mention the Malthusian sciences about how food production
> leads to the overpopulation of the Human race

> Develop shows that will correct and dismantle the dangerous US world economy.

Sound just like the same hate that even fears a mosque in lower Manhattan.

It is a shame he died. They needed him on the Comedy Channel.

He even made jobs. He paid homeless people to picket for him.

Tw, we know you're not exactly an example of good mental hygiene -- you could seriously use a good mental floss. We do wish you knew it too.
