And we've one more fact to state,
that we think it's really great,
to be alive! to be alive...

The Duckhills (a band out of Austin)
Think God, from Remembering Spongcake

I couldn't find the lyrics, but here's the MP3.

Quote:
On the very first day
God made light
When I flick the switch I think
"God that's too bright"

I turn knobs,
The voices of angels appear
I take apart the speakers
There ain't no angel here

...

God didn't give me wings,
So Boeing did
Now I can go anywhere
In spite of him

...

Let It Burn

I'm thinking it through
I'm thinking of you
Try to remind myself to move
The nightmare unfolds
Should have never let her go
Alone in this empty room
Let it burn

I'm thinking of you
I'm thinking it through
I try to remind myself to move
I wait by the phone
You're never coming home

Let it burn (let it burn), let it bleed (let it bleed)
Let it go that Sunday morning

I don't understand
Just give her one more chance
May angels keep her safe tonight
Cause I'm doing all I can
Let it burn

It was a cold winter's day
And the streets were wet with rain
Another drink, one for the ride
He turned the key and started to drive
I wish I never let her go
I wish I could just push rewind
So young and so alive
So young and so alive

Let it burn (let it burn), let it bleed (let it bleed)
Let it go that Sunday morning

I don't understand
Just give her one more chance
May angels keep her safe tonight
Cause I'm doing all I can
Let it burn

Let it burn (let it burn), let it bleed (let it bleed)
But this time I pierced my heart beneath my skin
Let it burn (let it burn), let it bleed (let it bleed)
What a price, life torn apart from one man's sin

I don't understand
Just give us one more chance
I'll see you in my dreams tonight
Cause I'm doing all I can
Let it burn

If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice. (Rush)

Nice! That is the kind of concise statement that I love Rush (Peart) for.

That has always been one of my favorite lines in a song, from my favorite Rush song.

This is a metal song, but one would not know it just by listening, as it is a ballad, an amazing one. Oh, and you have to hear it sung, the vocals are incredible, so play the video at the bottom and enjoy.

Dreamer/Deceiver by Judas Priest

Standing by my window, breathing summer breeze
Saw a figure floating, 'neath the willow tree
Asked us if we were happy, we said we didn't know
Took us by the hands and up we go

We followed the dreamer through the purple hazy clouds
He could control our sense of time
We thought we were lost but no matter how we tried
Everyone was in peace of mind

We felt the sensations drift inside our frames
Finding complete contentment there
And all the tensions that hurt us in the past
Just seemed to vanish in thin air

He said in the cosmos is a single sonic sound
That is vibrating constantly
And if we could grip and hold on to the note
We would see our minds were free...oh they're free

We are lost above
Floating way up high
If you think you can find a way
You can surely try
