I put my ear up to it, but other than a mild ocean-like roaring, I'm really not getting anything.

I didn't know CD covers were so technologically advanced! I get a great buzzing noise!

One of the funnier/sadder side effects of chemically altering one's state is that you get a HUGELY skewed view of what is clever and what is not. I remember taking a notepad and sitting down to free-associate after having mixed a popular prescription insomnia remedy with the hobbit's leaf. At the time, I thought I had reached the pinnacle of creativity and oneness with the universe. I wish I had saved it and scanned it for y'all. It was basically half a page of chicken scratch (I thought I had invented a Kanji-like alphabet and that it would translate the next day), some sort of phallic symbol, something that looked like a little troll with a top hat, and a listing of the times (I had a clock in front of me to see how long my endeavors took) that I experienced auditory hallucinations. These last weren't hallucinations at all, but the sound of the hot water heater turning on and off.

Now I see what would've happened if I had opened photoshop instead.

I did "the best painting of my life" under similar conditions, and woke up out of paint, with nothing but a big olive drab blur on the canvas on my easel.....

Does that look like Kurt Cobain to anyone besides me?

it looks like that guy has mascara on. really nice eyelashes. but I wouldn't want a picture that close-up of myself. unless i'd just used pore strips.
