Help for fleas on baby kitties??

I have a litter of kittens that just opened their eyes a week ago. I don't think they're even quite a month old yet. All four have a lot of white on them and I can see a lot of fleas on all of them. PLEASE! Any suggestions on how to help them at this young age! Thanks!!
So far what I have done, and I just tried this about 12 hrs ago....I changed all of their bedding where they sleep with and nurse from mama. Before I put them back in their little place, I got a couple of flea combs and combed the babies and got out all of the fleas that I possible could. Between combing strokes, I dipped the flea comb into a bowl of water with a little dish soap in it. I saw quite a lot of dead fleas in the water, but I am certain it was not 100% successful. These babies have to be miserable. Please send any feedback...rumors....your bright ideas....grandma's old home remedy...whatever you think is worth trying!
Please and thank you........

A friend on mine swears by salt as a good cure. She mixes a bath of salt water and washes the cats in that. She reckons it 'stuns' the fleas and you can then comb them out easily.

Alternatively, when my cats have had kittens, I've treated the mother and any other animals, and then simply picked the fleas off by hand and squashed them.

When the kittens are so young it's really not a good idea to use any chemicals. Once they get to about 4 weeks you probably could try one of the back of the neck flea treatments through the mother.

Call a vet immediately. Kittens can die from anemia with too many fleas.

Put a little garlic oil in the mother's food, this'll get passed on to the kittens in the regular way: fleas don't like garlic on their food . Also frequent combing to get new fleas as they hatch. A vet may be able to advise on flea treatment for young kittens, too.

In the yard. A little pine oil in water and hold tight, give a quick dunk. The fleas will give up the ship. Yeah and on your butt.

Oh, I forgot, then throw a match on them. It will cure them of any fleas they may have.

Sorry, you must have me confused with IB.

I am trying to be constructive here. In the south we soak them in gas for a few minutes. not a flea to be found afterwards. Never hurt one of those pussies, not a one.

No, that was a joke. But it will kill any fleas you get on a cat. Promise. Never hurt a cat in my life. Ok, except for the ones I shot off my fence with a .22 the other night, noisey fuckers no more.
