Need knowledge of this software

I got this link from a net friend of mine. He's sort of into the whole IM/webcam thing when it comes to chatting with folks, and I've been trying to find a decent server or IM platform for my dialysis chatroom (b/c some ppl are having problems getting kicked off, etc.).

So anyway, this friend sends me this site for Skype, new web telephony program. Ever heard of it and if so, is it any good? Any help would be cool. Thanks.

ehhh i tried it a while back. its still in beta i believe but it eats up resources, but i was just using it for the voice chat part for games. try it out tho, its worth a try at least.

Use it, it's pretty good, need a decent mike but otherwise it's not a bad little program at all. Not sure about the windows copy but the OSX one is spyware free.
