This site is a list of all people who served in Vietnam. Its pretty darned accurate. Quick tool for spotting a wannabe. Just type in the name.

I love spotting fakes. Nothing like pointing out the error of their ways, of course, many have a tendency to get a tad violent when this is pointed out. Sometimes discretion can be the better part of valor.

That one site has a $20 a year membership...I guess it depends on how bad you want to know something.

The second link does not work because my dyslexic self typed it in wrong. But as another poster pointed out, just got to vikingphoenix.com and follow the links.

That is unless you are too busy calling people names to figure that out for yourself.
