Just say no to chain stores. I like the doc, I like the service, what's 20 bucks more here and there? I ordered the bendy twisty frames, something flex, lined bifocals, and some really stealth antiglare program.

$355. for the whole thing, not including the exam. $99.

I've no idea if I've been had. It seems like a lot of money, but I don't do this very often.
$355 is reasonable for flex (probably Flexon) frames and a good anti-reflective coating.

The FDA has approved Purevision toric lenses for up to 30 days continuous wear. But don't do it. It's really not good to sleep in any contact lenses - whether they're approved or not.

Good news Foot , just some corrective lenses !!!
WEAR THEM !!!!!
get used to them !!!
I have been wearing glasses since the 7n'th grade , my mom didn't think I needed glasses untill my hunting buddy told her
" He Realy can't see the ducks , he is listening to them and shooting in their direction !!!" I could ALWAYS hear them befor he could see them !!!
After I got glasses I ALWAYS out shot him , shooting trap , dove and ducks !!!
I recently had to get bifocals as well , but I went for the no line version ,
I have 3 pairs of glasses ,
1) for general wear ,no line bifocals , poly carbinet ( sorry ) , for safety .
2) polorized sunglasses with a mild green tint
3) Reading glasses for , well reading and puter work , close small work in general , etc,,,

Oh and a pic for how I am feeling ,

I couldn't wear them because the working part of the lineless bifocals is only about the center third of the width of the lens. Had to keep moving my head from side to side just to read the width of a page.

point your nose at what you want to see,
These have messed with my periphial vision but I am getting used to them ,
Actualy they are like tri-focals . there is the standard vision at the top , then middle vision , then close vision
