The Amazing, "Circles". I'd call it drop-dead gorgeous.

From Pitchfork's review of The Amazing's album "Picture You":

Quote:
The end result is a record that reverently draws from a dazzling array of past masters only to short-circuit critical capacity. Discussion of "Picture You" can only end up with slack-jawed remarks about how goddamn pretty it is. Stranger still is how the adverbs you’d feel tempted to latch onto that superlative somehow makes that seem like a bad thing: "obscenely pretty," "ridiculously beautiful," etc. But the Amazing specialize in a beauty that isn’t airbrushed or slick or antiseptic, the kind captured by lad mags or Trevor Horn, everything exaggerated to emphasize its status as eye or ear candy. Nor is it smudged or vaporous like shoegaze. It doesn’t even make a full attempt at an au naturel realism of folk or the otherworldliness of psych-rock, though it does touch on those aspects. "Picture You" is elemental rock—earthy, molten, aquatic, but using each of their qualities to soothe rather than destroy or intimidate.

Both of those links yield "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."

Are these them?

Hey Gravdigr. Here's one for you, brother. Reminds me of Gov't Mule.

This is from awhile ago, and as a youngster, daaayum. He plays the *hell* out of that Strat.

THAT was phuken awesome. Thanks so much!

Never heard of the guy. The first thing I thought when I heard the name of the band (Back Door Slam) in my head, was "Well that don't sound gay at all."

Ima hafta give Mr. Davy Knowles the YouTube once over. Maybe a twice over.

Thanks again. Really liked it.

Atypical presentation by this 12 y.o.; but, still good music. I've skipped the background story to get to the performance; so, give the video a few seconds to load to that point. You can hear her whole story by watching it on YouTube. You might want to watch the performance again in full screen anyway.
