I have been mistaken for Dennis Quaid a couple of times: once at a hospital in LA and once at a ski resort in Colorado.

Daisy Steiner from Spaced for similar reasons.

The most oddest comparison I can remember was when a friend watched Pulp Fiction and told the rest of our group that Uma Thurman's character really reminded her of me.
That's bizarre. I have been compared to Daisy Steiner, and was also compared to someone in Pulp Fiction: but it wasn't Uma, it was the girl from the diner, who holds the place up, with her boyfriend......someone said to me "I could really imagine you in that role".

Amanda Plummer. A great actress. I saw her in the play "Agnes of God" on broadway. Amazing performance.

I see the celebrity comparisons on the random Livejournal images page all the time, and after seeing about 100 people try it, most of the people do not really look like the celebrities they are given when you stop to look at them.

I see where they get the comparison, facial features and such, but of course it's not like spittin' image comparison. It's not entirely random, either.

What would be cool would be to start a website where everyone is compared against everyone, average Joe and Josephine, and find your double we're all supposed to have.

(Techies: if this website flies I get a cut! I have another great idea for a site that I don't have the wherewithall to implement.)

I've been compared to Lindsay Wagner (the Bionic Woman) looks-wise. Some smarty-pants once told me I reminded him of Julie Andrews in Sound of Music. I'm pretty sure he was kidding.
