I haven't fucked up mine yet. My resolution is to be caught up (or at least out of the woods) on my bills by Valentine's Day. So, expect a celebration post from me on 2/14/08.

And he also didn't say 250 of what.
Kilograms? Cigarettes per day? Beers per week? Dead raccoons under the porch? This shouldn't be too hard.

I'm not sure whether to sue SM or Starbuck's. On the one hand SM made me laugh, on the other Starbuck's doesn't disclose on their cup that coffee will burn the nostrils.

Well...I was stopping smoking on Jan 1...it took until Jan 7th (I think) before I managed a day completely cig free.
The other resolution was to 'get organised' with my council stuff and uni work, once I have got my semester one exams out the way. I'll let you know how far I get with that one, once the exams are over ;P |

I just made wishes. I do this every year...Less disappointment that way. This is my recipe for new years wishes:
1 Woodburning fireplace, or gas, or firepit. (wherever you burn stuff and stay warm) 1 Piece of Paper 1 Pen 6 Pack of beer or mixed Vodka drink. First you light your new years fireplace being careful to have enough wood. You pour yourself a nice drinky and begin your evening. When you feel inspiration coming on, you write down a wish on your paper very tiny, cut the wish from the paper, and throw it into the fireplace and watch your wish burn into smoke. From there it is obviously whisked up into the air! (this is my preferred method of making a wish everyone is different) And repeat. No commitment. Just wishes. Easier to follow up on if you feel your life already has too many demands.

does the word sarcasm mean anything to you, cloud? irony, perhaps? people are motivated in all sorts of ways. some respond to praise, others to fear of loss, some to vanity, some to competition. this was a whimsy thread. i think my getting to 250 by feb 14th is prety lofty....but maybe i'll get to 255? or who knows? aim high. i've upped my standards....now up yours!
