I've heard a few drops of Visine in one's drink will do bad things...I wouldn't want to taste it.

I can't be the only person this happens to?
Perfect aim, just the taste of the eyedrops a few seconds afterwards.

Like those people that take a mouthful of milk and get it to come out of their eyes... Except I don't do that. I try not to do anything deliberately nasty.

Grav - yes. Nasty side effects indeed!

Visine prank myth
A common urban legend is that a few drops of Visine in an unsuspecting victim's drink will cause a harmless bout of diarrhea. This will not produce diarrhea, but oral administration of Visine can induce dangerous side effects related to Visine's ingredient tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride such as:

Dangerously low body temperature (hypothermia)
Blurred vision
Nausea and vomiting
Difficulty in breathing or even a complete halt in breathing
Elevating (hypertension) then dropping (hypotension) blood pressure
Possible coma
Seizures and tremors

Your eyes, ears, nose, and throat are all connected. When you put the eyedrops in, hold your nose. The drops will not be able to drain from your eyes. Wipe your eyes and let go of your nose - no taste.

Yeah, when I have a stuffed-up nose, and try to blow it, sometimes the air comes out of the inner corner of my eye.

Well, if you pick your nose and eat it, it has to come out sooner or later.

Thought I was in labor at the pool today. (3 intense lower back pains in 10 minutes + cramps) But the I wasn't. SUPER appreciate Jack refusing to leave the pool while I was doubled over. Note to self: 4 year old boys don't really care about hospitals, contractions, or that a person might come out of mommies pachenga, when they are in a pool. Maybe even if they're not in a pool.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to drain the pool for that

Someone would complain about their swim class being cancelled.

I get it bad too at this time of year. Reactine is the only anti-histamine that works for me.

Triple the admission price and tell 'em it's a nutrient rich health bath.

God, have it often enough and it could become a theme-pool. The placenta play-centre. Folks would be queueing up!
