Hooliganism

What is hooliganism? The Chinese for which this word is the loose translation is "shua liu mang". I say loose, because it can cover actions ranging from saying four letter words to rape. That's pretty loose. Apparently it covers being gay, as well. In China, it's not an easy life being out.

When I was living in the UK last summer, there was a story on the 10 news every night about the Yobbism that plauged East Anglia (that's where I was staying). I love the word Yob - but Yobs are a pain in the butt!

I like the word 'yegg'. It's more specific than yob or hooligan, but I just love the sound of it.
