Yes, I do. Usually on the weekend with friends, but sadly work schedules lately have made that more difficult.

not since most of my old d&d group started using it as an excuse to get away from the wives and kids and turned it into a smoke-a-thon.. and I'll be damned! if they're getting any more of my money.. I mean c'mon! I bought from chainmail up until 3.0 edition. the thing that started bugging me is that it seemed that the system was moving away from the more 'realistic' and back to a system closer to basic d&d.. I dunno more fantastic.. I didn't like it, although.. I am rather fond of the newer d&d video games.

A few times with friends in the know back when I was in grade school. I was a nerd, but apparently not nerdy enough.

Magic: The Gathering anyone?
Don't judge.
I was young and foolish.
There are way cheaper ways to be nerdy.

I wish I could find my bag of polyhedra dice. I like gem dice. They gleam like great precious stones. Yeah -- D&D old-school.

Haven't played since the Navy, twenty and more years ago.

I think of the game as a fantasy novel, written on the fly by the efforts and stratagems of the people around the table.

Oh, and I recommend Knights Of The Dinner Table. There's gamer humor for ya!

I haven't played since my GM moved to Long Island. which was probably about 10 years ago.

(He actually has come back for one night games a couple of times, but now most of the rest of the gaming group has scattered to the winds.)

I tried to get into it, I really did, but my inherent lack of luck in anything having to do with random chance finally frustrated me into giving up.

I once got killed by *bees* in a game. Bees.

Don't feel bad; even Macaulay Culkin made a bad roll against bees in that "My Girl" movie.

*slap slap* AAaaaAAAaahhhhh! The bees they're in my bonnet, stinging my ass to death!
