Death/Life Masks

Brianna will know what prompted this. Our lit teacher showed us the "life mask" of Coleridge. Hm.

So of course, I googled and found this. Thought it might interest you.

Kind of creepy. Cool, but creepy.

I saw Lincoln's a couple days ago. They have two in the national portrait gallery. One was done a couple months before his death, and the other didn't say when it was done. I'm amazed they got a sitting president to allow a mask to be made of him.

I want one!
Of me I mean.

Trouble is, by the time I lost enough weight to be happy with my face, and saved up enough money to have it done, I'd be all old and decrepid and no longer vain enough to wat it.

Fascinating subject Juni.
