In the spirit..

in the spirit of tyro's picture sharing, just thought I'd make a thread where folks can post their best/favorite pictures they've taken.

Here's my flickr page. I've only had it for a couple months so not many pics uploaded yet. I used to have a Canon Powershot A400, but just recently upgraded to an A620

Lemme know what ya'll like, and lets see what ya'll got!

Lit Tree 2 is good.

Most of my best photos are already scattered around the Cellar, but here are a few of my faves.

A few pictures - not so many in France - for a change!

First a couple catching sunrise over the fields near us - one rather misty, the other I took because it immedaitely made me wonder where all those vapour trails were leading the people on board the aircraft that made them...

We have some bluebell woods nearby which give an amazing show each May, spread across acres through the woodlands - here are a couple of pictures:

OK - it has to be France now. A couple from a holiday in the Dordogne last year. First the bridge at Bergerac caught as the sun was setting and casting a pink glow over the otherwise dull concrete; second, a look across the rooftops of the mediaeval village of St Emillion (where the wine comes from) - had the best meal ever here!

Just two more (France again - sorry!) - from the same Dordogne visit, the structured gardens of Eyrignac, followed by a picture from the 2004 cycling holiday to the Baie de Somme, this one being the lighthouse at Le Treport....

Found another one of that misty field that I quite like - the two small blobs towards the centre are a couple of horses...
