I hope she comes back too; if the sane people leave the Cellar, look what's left.

One reason why I for one am not budging.

Conundrum: When people who make the Cellar a good place (i.e., Dagney) leave because they don't like what the Cellar is becoming then by removing themselves from the mix, they are actually making it worse.

Not that anyone has an obligation to stay but, as with any group, membership has certain implicit obligations.

I'm-leaving-threads pretty much say "I'm better than you" ...

The message is intentionally hurtful to the community, it's a parting shot.

That reminds me of a joke: When a person emigrates from Scotland to England he raises the IQ of both countries.

My grandmother came over from Scotland. She had 14 brothers and sisters and lived to be 97.

Good for her.
Just out of interest - do you describe yourself as Scottish?

SG -- [I'm waiting for someone to tell us to go to gabbly chat.]

I usually say I'm half-Scottish and half-German, though I truthfully don't know my geneology in detail.

How about you?

To fully explore that, I'd have to read the "I'm Leaving" post, and I'm not wasting one minute of my time reading that kind of self-indulgent bullshit.

If you're leaving, leave. Bye. Keep your comments to yourself, cram them up your ass, and go away. Just go.

btw: Does "Greener Pastures" not mean "Better" or have I completely misunderstood the meaning of this common expression? No, it means "Better"

Nice try, but greener pastures means looking, or heading for a better place, not I'm better than you.
