Small beer compared to yours, but I've just found the missing tape measure.
Yay!
Diz must have batted it under the printer, can't imagine how it ended up there otherwise.

Its inexplicable disappearance has been puzzling me for DAYS!

This is one of the reasons I love America -you can return stuff to the stores for a refund without reason. So if I lose stuff, I pop down to Walmart, buy a replacement and bingo! When I get home the missing item reappears in a very obvious place. So I use it, nail it down for next time and return the unused product

Yeah, with some exceptions, most stores here take returns pretty liberally.

and then some. If I shop for beest clothes and ain't sure about the sizing, I buy the one I think and one either side on the credit card, take them home for him to try and then return the other two which will get credited back to the card same billing cycle. shopping American rocks.

My stepmom used to do clothes for me that way when I was a kid, because I hated shopping. She'd go pick out ten dresses, bring them home for me to try on, and return 8-9 of them the next day.

It's a nice strategy if it works. If we did that with my daughter we'd be taking all 10 of them back!

It proposed nothing. The dealer, however, proposed that I take it home.

Because they didn't make troll bikes. They are all way to big for my short boney legs. And besides, they didn't come with billy goat trailers.
