For Rich.

I do love Tim Minchin.
But wasn't sure if you'd heard the full glory of Murray Head.

Like you say (although in a few more words) horses for courses.
Minchin is a singer and musician in a way many comedians are not.
But seriously, listen to Murray.

I wanted to find Heaven on Their Minds but this is perfect because the derelict church reminds me of Alan Garner's Elidor. Another school book that freaked me out.
Sometimes I wonder why I carried on reading at all? Even poetry was sometimes scarring...

One day I will post lists of Things That Spook Sundae or that Sundae Does Not Like.
Because those are fascinating topics.
Hmmm, 'cept that I've banged on about them so much that pretty much everyone here knows them anyway. If I gave Limey a £1 for everything she knows I have a problem with (esp food-wise) she'd be able to afford to go on the Orient Express

I believe this is Head. No actual vid, though.

Cheers, Foot.
That is certainly Head.

That's the album I grew up on.
Not in a Four Yorkshiremen way though.

Me too. I just listened to it again this summer and was surprised at how short it was, considering it was a two record set.

Never really got why ALW got a rep as being cheesy. Although that might have been my wife who said that. I liked it.

I was at an ice cream place with the kids and "I don't Know How to Love Him" was on the radio and I was amazed at Yvonne Elliman's voice.
