TV trivia, anyone?

Let’s start a TV trivia thread! I’ll start:
Which of the following TV shows has Robert De Niro NOT made a guest appearance on…
- M.A.S.H.
- Sesame Street
- Mad TV

See if you can guess.. and add your own trivia tidbits if you have any! I’ll add more as I think of them.

I'd say MASH.

Speaking of mash, what was the name of the actor that played the FIRST Father Mulcahy?

What is Mad TV, FF?
I know he has to have been on sesame street.

Trivia:What's the crime his character was accused of in George Lucas's directorial debut, THX-1138? Hint: It's pretty damn ironic considering the flood of certain kinds of advertising.

THX-1138 starred Robert Duvall ... also an excellent character actor.

Duvall played Frank Burns in the movie version of M*A*S*H and along with DeNiro was in the Godfather films. Mebbe that's where the confusion lies.

But Anyway ...

THX was imprisoned for "medication evasion" I believe. (Darned if I can remember why Donald Pleasance was jailed, though)

And you'd be right! Uryoces, you've never seen Mad TV? It's been on for years! It's sketch comedy, much like Saturday Night Live, Kids In The Hall, etc. Good job! You guys got all my quotes easily. Did you guys know that Robert De Niro is going to get the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award? It'll be on the USA channel, June 23 9pm/8c - I didn't know this, but Harrison Ford already got one of these! It's about time for De Niro. It should come as no surprise, since the man has more than 60 movies under his belt, but I was starting to wonder if they were ever going to give him his due credit. He's one of my favorite actors of all time, so I for one am thrilled about this.

In the first episode of MASH (might have been the pilot) Father Mulcahy was played by a young red headed kid named George Morgan.

THX-1138 was also the licence plate number of the hero's car in G. Luca's second film which was?

Sometimes Mad TV is funnier than SNL, but I usually switch over to SNL when it comes on anyway.

Can you believe Robert De Niro has done over 60 films? I don't know how old he is, but even if he were 60 years old, that's at least 1 movie for every year of his life! What a fun life that would be, don't you think?

anyway, here's some new quotes - see if you can guess the man and the movies:

1.) "It's these cans... he HATES these cans!"

2.)"I'll have a double-half cup of decaffeinated half-caf"

3.)"You know when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea: have a point. It makes it so much more interesting for the listener!"
