Did a Dingo eat the baby?

I never knew where this came from but found this recent article and it discussed the whole history. Pretty interesting read.

Australia asks _ again: Did a dingo kill the baby?

This is not news. Now a story about a baby eating a dingo, THAT'S news!

I think this whole thing is a waste of tax payer dollars.

The family has had 3 previous inquests plus a trial. When will it end? There is obviously not evidence to name a cause of death.

I just feel angry about this to be honest. This story took up a huge chunk of the news for about 10 years of my childhood and they're opening it up again? They've made countless doco's and even a telemovie about it all (which was really crap I have to say).

I'm so over it, and the family needs to move on too. Enough is enough.

Ali, sorry to dig it up again but I had never heard the original story and thought the line was just a clever statement. I was enlightened and interested.

I must be over-tired. I am totally not getting that. I mean I know it's meant to be funny, but I can't figure out why.

Another reason has to do with some crap about how once our brain decides something it is nearly impossible to get it the change its mind, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

You don't have to be sorry Merc. I've been bitching about it since I heard it on the news the other day.

I'm actually impressed it made it to the international news...again.
