The Confidence of A Mortal

Jesus loves me, that's all that matters,
Strike Out King, So where's the batters,
Bust-a Rhyme, in military Time,
Sin is relative, so chuck the sign,
Bow before the royal throne,
My life is spared, so here I roam,
Turn form evil and love my God,
Read the bible and stretch my bod,

you finish this poem...

Confidence of a mortal,
I am still as
Extraordinary as an angel.
Drunk and puking in a corner.

JBK, I like these. It's kind of like pic association. The fun answers, the thoughtful answers, the jabs...it's all great! I think you should start a thread, poem association, and start poems and ask people to add on. Then we can keep them all in one place, and I think it will catch on. I'll participate. My additions are kind of silly, and sometimes i might be poking fun, sometimes I might be in my natural element of "smartass" but I think it's really fun.

Look at Sundae's response. It's amazing. Funny, and well done. And Spexxvett's clone thread had another take on what sorts of things could be done, like maybe not adding on, but rewording yours. There are a lot of possibilities for dwellars to show off creativity, humor, insight, outsight...

So, having said that...

Jesus loves me, that's all that matters,
Strike Out King, So where's the batters,
Bust-a Rhyme, in military Time,
Sin is relative, so chuck the sign,
Bow before the royal throne,
My life is spared, so here I roam,
Turn form evil and love my God,
Read the bible and stretch my bod,

I saw this on his desk one day
Almost turned and looked away
A poem about some 'god'
Who has always seemed so far away
Yet it had a beat and I could dance
Started gettin' dancy pants!
All that god stuff, I don't know
I'm in the air, not sure what's so
But if in heaven we can dance
I might just give this 'god' a chance

well if anyone is really serious about doing that you should just visit MY
bullitian board.. "pluto power" it can be accessed very easily under my web site under the "expectwaves" section two steps into the site.. after all my poetry is the kicking force behind the act.. an my poetry is directly connected to the site.. kind of like a promotional thing only the goal is to "save souls" and make lots of friends.. I figure if I get popular enough I might actually be able to sell it at one point.. don't worry I thought twice about "selling out" and really my paintings are what I'm trying to sell I figure If people love enough then they'll be willing to buy a painting if I can save about 20thousand dollars I'll pay off all my debt an go back to school and study art then do it professionally..

Awesome!

I really don't participate in other forums. No offense, I'm just basically a one forum girl.

Maybe you could do this casually to generate interest in your site?

By the way, did you like my poem or not!
