BTW, the pineapple design, so prevalent on the first tree, is a Pennsylvania Dutch (Germans who emigrated to U.S.) symbol of welcome.

I had one of those garden in a bottle things for three years. Mine was like one of those 5 gallon glass water cooler jugs laying on it's side. Unfortunately it got broken when we moved.
