When I was in the fifth grade--I'm 67 now--our school celebrated May Day and while 6th grade had the May Queen and court, the fifth graders danced around the Maypole, boy and girl couples. Kids were encouraged to leave small bouquets on neighbor's doorsteps. I'm sorry to see the custom fade away.

Is that the ladies' auxillary of the KKK indulging in a bit of paganistic phallus-worship? They just need some big black c**k.

Pole dancing has certainly become more entertaining. You've come a long way, baby.
