foot - I MUST know what state you're living in -coz if it's Vermont, that would explain a LOT about you (no offense, ibby)

And I am knitting antimacassars. To put on the davenport right BEFORE the filthy swine are lead away to their beheading! Greasy folk, the rich. Oily. Smell like cabbage and rose water. They're fooling no one.

I live on the former Western coast of VT, now the Eastern Coast of NY. I lived in VT for about 10 years, in my 20s. I lead bike tours all over the state. I know it very well.

My parents were visiting and we were eating out at a local P.F. Chang's and my dad (Physics professor) got super excited and pointed him out. It took me a while of him repeating the guy's name, and then I was like "Oh, the Secretary of Energy?" and my dad was like "Huh? No, he's the Nobel prize winning physicist from Stanford." But he WAS the Secretary of Energy then.

True story.

Oh! Another thing I want!

I want How I Met Your Mother season 7 on Netflix, dammit. They can load it for streaming, or they can stop with the "very long wait" bullshit and ship me disc 1, I don't care. I'm jonesin'.

Is there a thread to talk about Sherlock? I just finished season 2, and well, you know...

This is the thread where it's been discussed most extensively.

Yes. Season 3 is confirmed, but won't broadcast until Fall 2013.

I have a few theories and have been reading other blogs to see what other people are saying.
I have to get some sleep now though.

Yeah. I didn't have any theories but just wondered how the writers were going to explain it. Then I went to a couple sites and saw various theories posted. Some of them seemed possible, which mean the writers might have had them in mind.

It would be funny if the writers didn't have a plan, but just wrote it and figured the internet chatter would tell them what to write next.

Me too (waves hand)!

I was supposed to watch seasons 1-6 through my treatments and I blew it, showed no restraint and watched them all already ... I need season 7!!

Any other suggestions for excellent, preferably funny, programs gratefully accepted. Although good drama is also fine ... have to look up Sherlock. I'm embarrassed to say that I'm clueless about TV series, never turn the thing on. My kids think it's sort of cute but hopeless.
